  • It should be fine until the weekend if the vessel is covered. Re lids, they are probably both pressure proof, so it depends whether you are intending using CO2 to pressurise the vessel. If you are priming the batch with sugar when it goes in the barrel, it will generate enough of its own CO2 to 'condition' it, but unless you are going to drink it all in one big party (we can arrange this?), you will probably need a CO2 cart to re-gas it after drawing off half the beer, as it needs a gas blanket to preserve it, maintain condition and, in the case of top-tap or 'float' barrels, to drive the beer out of the barrel.
