A well construced lightweight Reynolds 531 vintage steel frame with stunning Simplex dropouts and stunning stamped fork ends (see photos). It's kitted out with one of the best gearsets ever produced - Simplex SLJ. Plus, Stronglight crankset, Pelissier Professionells high flange hubs, Mafac 2000 brakes…

Well used but is still in very sound condition and is rammed full of character!

54cm Motoconfort Reynolds 531 Racer - Dura-Ace 1st Gen

An absolutely cracking find from France. The classic Shimano Dura-Ace parts date this to 1976, and it boasts an almost complete 1st generation Dura-Ace groupset! The only non Dura-Ace parts are the Campagnolo Nuovo Record headset (can't really complain about that!) and a lovely pair of Ofmega vintage wheels. If you really wanted this to be complete Dura-Ace I'm sure we could source some wheels and we have 1st generation Dura-Ace headsets in stock which could be fitted if you so wish. The rest of the parts are quality kit too, with a mixture of 3ttt & SR finishing kit, with an awesome CInelli Unicanitor style plastic saddle too. It really is a fantastic machine. A very rare and most importantly beautiful vintage racer from the mid-1970s. Finished in a stunning and vibrant sky blue, and in very good condition throughout.
