  • Anyone know what the deal with the "15% off for subscribing to newsletter" is?

I signed up for it but haven't received a code or owt.

I signed up for it when I originally ordered. Got an email through on Monday from HH saying I needed to update my interests, however following their link I get a 500 Internal Server Error. I thought fuck it, aint' nobody got time for that.

  • I signed up twice and neither time got an email. today got an email telling me to update something or other but i never got the oroginal email so what the hell.

  • Responding to that email informing them of the server error gets a failure message also....

  • Guess they werent ready to give away 65% on their gear....

  • Thanks for the info.

Guess I'll have to settle for the paltry 50%...

  • TK Maxx Greenford,
    in the half-a-shopping-centre,
    just up from the A40.

XTM 100% merino crew tops at £20
and zipped crew tops at £25.
    Red (Chilli) or Dark Charcoal,
    variety of sizes.

(They are all in the 'Activewear' section
    just by the 'Fleece' sign).

  • Just received my HH 1/2 zip wool baselayer. Looks very nice but not too pricey at all. More orders on the way...

  • Orders are arriving here too.

I suspect this is a clever bit of viral marketing - they don't want to ne seen having a sale pre-christmas or to be undercutting their retailers but no doubt it is shifting a load of stock and doing great things for their December cashflow.

Considering the voucher code was meant to have expired a long time ago - I agree.

  • took a delivery from the site which must not be names.

devold multi sport zip. really well made and the fit is perfect, plus i had a fiver off voucher so it was less than £20

  • FAO anyone who has bought the wool sets, how do the long johns fit?

The XL top fits me pretty well at 6'4 and I'd like to order one of the packs but I'm a bit worried the kecks will be massive!

  • I'm 6'4 waist 30" chest 40" and the large set is pretty perfect. LJs fit as they should, tight at the ankle, loose at the crotch.

  • Brilliant might pick up one of those heavyweight parkas next week

  • Dr Google will see you now

  • Just got one of these in the mail today.
Medium fits me alright, I like 'em a little loose.
What's with that pocket on the back though? May have to do some alterations tonight.
Icebreaker still wins for fineness, this is still very nice.

  • Finisterre sample sale this week.

  • Just bought a couple of Icebreaker GT merino cycling jerseys. Hard to resist given that they were in my favourite colour (orange) and they were just under half price. First impressions are that they're rather nice. Might have to try one out at the velodrome tonight.

  • Why are people referring to it as the site which must not be named?

  • Sport Pursuit. You can get money off by referrals so to prevent spamming it was decided it's not to be mentioned on here.

  • ^^^ The Icebreaker GT top passed the velodrome test. Kept me nice and toasty despite the fact it was decidedly nippy in there. I think it's a keeper.

I have a couple of short sleeve jerseys from their short lived 'urban' range. Amazing garments. Shame they stopped making them. What's the fit like on the GT tops? Fitted?

  • Very fitted. OK, so I bought Medium (it was that or small - it's an outlet store so choices are limited) but they're definitely intended to be a race fit. Nice and long though.

  • That's me out then....
