  • Oh Ireland.

  • Fffffffuuuuuu!

  • I was streaming a kiwi radio commentary here in Jordan... he was breaking down, couldn't handle the ending! Incredible finish, I look forward to seeing the highlights

  • As heartbreaking as that was, I reckon it was one of the best games of rugby I have ever seen.

  • Phew

  • What a kick in the gut. Feel for poor Johnny Sexton tonight.

    this..

  • WorldCup fixtures are out

tickets are £75 for tickenham england games... well, the cheapest are

  • Tickets for Wales vs. Australia on Saturday.

    Get in.

  • Good work should be a good game.

Not sure if it will match the Ireland v NZ match but has the potential to be up there. Both side have named strong teams and there should be some excellent broken field play.

In other news the LNR (French clubs) have pulled out of the Rugby Champions Cup, meaning that the Heineken Cup will definitely go ahead next year but possibly without the English clubs.

  • Another win today and another try for me! Got the opening score. Doubling my all time PB seasonal try count to 2! We traded the lead until half time, playing uphill into a stiff wind, ran away with it in the second half to win 50-19

Now watching Munster throw away their game to Perpignan. Next up it's Ireland, I mean Leinster vs Northampton at 18:00. Hoping for another rout like last week.

  • Scratch that, Munster just stole back the win with the last play of the game!

  • Im enjoying rugby. Taking the knocks is something I'm still getting used to along with the achey breakyness afterwards, but I feel good overall which I'm stoked with.

I had hoped to be a scrum half and getting stuck in because being a winger is so boring, for example yesterdays game I had no more than 6 touches of the ball all game.

Christmas break now, but the first game back is going to be...cool as Bishops Stortford 5th's pulled out after not fielding a team for any of the games and so Her Majesty's prison, The Mount has taken their place

  • because being a winger is so boring, for example yesterdays game I had no more than 6 touches of the ball all game.

Nope, playing on the wing is great, you've usually got that much more space to work with. Go hunting for the ball/work, don't just stand out on the sideline saying give it to me.

  • to be fair, throughout the game I was never on the blindside, due to playing a second rower on the wing to make up numbers, so was always on the other side of the action, and our flyhalf and centres are great at forward running and were causing havoc, so I was mostly used as support. Usually I am making the diagonal inside runs for them to pop up to me, but I just wasn't really needed in yesterdays games

  • great performance from Ireland! Classic O Driscoll, gets hit by a pretty suspicious hit with no intention of wrapping arms, on the floor, takes a while to get up, yet its the offender that goes off injured

  • A few pretty classless hits by the Welsh, which showed how rattled they were. Mike Phillips was an embarrassment - he's always been a snidey cunt, but gave the full repertoire of petulance, ref bothering and off the ball shenanigans. Also lashed out with a kick when on the ground, which the ref missed. A liability - do Wales really not have any decent scrum halves at all?

  • Missed the first 7 min of the Ireland game because the pub I was in was showing the end of that kickball game. FFS, the score was 5-1, nothing was going to magically turn round in the last 3 min!!!!

  • ^^ Don't get me wrong - I am not a fan of Mike Phillips but snidey cunt is in the job description for a scrum half.

Its a real shame that we did not get to see a full on Phillips vs Isaac Boss match up - two very similar physical scrummies and Boss would have taught Phillips a lesson.

  • come on england!

  • Arrived in Addis Ababa this am and my only aim was to see this game. Found a hotel with over a dozen sports channels, not one of them showing the damn 6 Nations! I know rugby's not big here, but surely more so than giant fucking slalom. We'd better be winning.

Still, spent the pm in a dive bar chewing chat and beering with locals. Still on a happy buzz.

  • 74 mins, eng 13-10 ire

  • You're not missing much ...

  • ft 13-10, did the job

  • Just spent the past half hour waiting for the wifi to be fixed to find out the score. Buzzkill...
