Actually it would be better if you stripped the bike and sold the parts separately in my opinion. What you got is a Gitane (maybe Tour de France?) that has been repainted and covered with Peugeot stickers (easily findable on ebay). That means very little value. What has the most value on it is the gold parts, and still they sell for pretty cheap on Euro classifieds, and yours do not seem to be in good shape (example missing MAFAC 2000/Competition sticker on the front caliper)

Also, the Peugeot Prestige decal is normally on the other side, and close to the seat post.
