2013-12-12 - Rider Down, Beech Street EC2

Cyclist under lorry Beech Street, by Barbican Station.

Reported by one of our riders @ 1205. No other details.

I was going to walk past there at lunchtime, and could report back- but that feels unspeakably ghoulish now that I know there is a rider down there.

Some more info would be welcomed by everyone, it's only ghoulish if you are being intrusive and indiscreet.

saw some emergency services vehicles absolutely shifting it along london wall heading that way at 12:00

Eyewitness reports HGV was a rigid, but not spoil lorry.

Turning left from Aldersgate into Beech.

Bike was totally wrecked. No details on rider.

hopefully the lack of top tube would give the cyclist a better chance of bailing before the bike got totalled.
