  • Those on the tube often welcome death.

  • Which one had the erect penis?

I'm sure we all do now.

  • what's this about people having short commutes? why don't u just go a different route to make it longer/more interesting?

mine is 7m if i take the direct route but usually do 12-14 each way every day. only do 7m if i've been doing a lot of running the night before.

i bet no one will be able to guess how many sets of lights i go through on the 14m journey to work...any guesses?

    finsbury park to the wharf.

  • 12?

I do a 10 mile commute Tooting Bec to Twickenham. How many lights do I do? Nice and foggy in the park this morning! Really nippy though..

you do an extra 7 miles by doing couple of hundreds laps of a roundabout, right?

  • I am prepared for amazement regarding lights. Please tell!

  • i have the flu so i've been on the tube,

Another reason to avoid the Tube.

    Also, not flu.

  • Last time I counted there were 214 traffic light sets between Liverpool Street and my place.

  • I go through 6 lights on my 10 mile commute from tooting bec to twickenham, and on average only get caught at 2. Much better than my old slog down to london bridge and hitting every bloody set of lights. Drove me nuts! Especially the cyclists that jump every set and you have to repeatedly overtake them.....

  • I'm sure we all do now.

This is a rather gigantic logical fallacy, but I'll leave you to work out why for yourself while you're in the naughty corner. Don't scribble on the walls.

  • Riding down a narrow street, white van ahead of me and another van parked on the left, road's too narrow for the van ahead of me to squeeze through so he gets out and moves a sandwich board advertising a cafe, all the time muttering:

"Fucking van park there cunt can't get past cunt stupid place oy! whose van? cunt"

  • I won't be scribbling.

  • i lost count over 90, will try and get a more accurate number tomorrow morning but will probably lose count again...

  • OMG I CAN'T WAIT TO FlND OUT

  • That was sarcasm. Nobody cares.

  • I'll count mine this evening and we can compare. This will literally be the most fun thing ever.

  • you'll probably lose count, don't bother it aint worth it!

  • No! This is vital and important information! I'm willing to go this distance in the interests of SCIENCE.

  • if you really cared you'd go and count them on google streetview.

  • Google streetview sometimes duplicates them though, or cuts them in half. If it's not done accurately it's not worth doing at all.

  • fog that

  • Two, there are two sets of lights on my commute, although I only pass one if I drop my daughter off on the way to work. If anybody wants me to I can avoid that set too with a slight detour. My 'commute' is one mile long.

  • today i sat opposite a woman who was cradling a fat chihuahua with an erect penis
both were totally nonchalant about the whole thing

Which one had the erect penis?
    i'll rephrase it for clarity.

today i sat with an erect penis opposite a woman who was cradling a fat chihuahua
both were totally nonchalant about the whole thing

    HTH

  • If you are willing to take a circuitous route, it's possible to avoid all but one traffic light between south Wimbledon (near the polka theatre) and elephant and castle. I think it turns the eight mile direct route into about 17.

  • i bet no one will be able to guess how many sets of lights i go through on the 14m journey to work...any guesses?

    finsbury park to the wharf.

If you get on Regents Canal at Kingsland Rd not so many. That was my old commute... I don't miss Canary Wharf.
