Project dreary stealth antidote is over. A shame the dire weather of the HHSB ride did for the purple of the saddle, but my sopping testicles nestled so deeply into it that now it's sculpted perfectly to my entire rear is a trade I'm happy with.

50 (DA) x 19 (Phil). Went brakeless for duration of taking photos only, which was so brief I can't comment on how the wheels feel. Unfortunately spotter's been otherwise engaged so I settled for taking them myself locally. One thing I need is to up the tension of the pedals to maximum. Despite being brand new they don't have the bite of the Deltas I used to use.

The new pedals look extremely cool. Very nice.

Bike looks good. I'd give saddle to Skully to trim it a bit, otherwise all fit. Hope it rides as well as it looks.

Looks great, the pedals are a particularly nice touch.

I'd have those bullhorns off and drops on, but that's personal preference.

There's a strong argument to be made for drops but I've found those bars to be more versatile that I expected.

What stops a swap dead is once my Merckx is done I won't want both bikes having similar bars, and these would look too daft for even me on a Corsa Extra.

That came out great, i like the bar tape. I like the bull horns too, many different hand positions. Drops would look great though, and of course good for going fast.

No more farting about with this. Flite from eBay, seatpost courtesy of mustardbeak and bars/stem from the man like miro_o. Top tube dent my own fault after six too many at Murts' leaving do. I've begun trusting the frame again though - at first I rode it gingerly but it's been several months since it happened and, although I've been told the tube's beyond repair and needs replacing, I feel confident riding it normally again. Loving the new bars too.

This now rides like a hot knife through butter and feels as good as it probably can.

The tube will get replaced at some point - despite having regained my confidence in the frame it being almost dead centre makes me a bit nervous...

Have to say, I'm liking the bars/tape/saddle... Not fully sold on the end plugs.

Yeah, I'd have tube replaced, just a shame to lose that blue.
