Do you want a coplete bike? I have recently stripped down my charge plug racer xs in black, well looked after' fairly good condition. With all the bits that I took of it when I first bought it, it should be a near complete bike. But I am just deciding whether or not I want to keep it as a winter bike. What's your budget?

I am probably marginally taller than you but I have shorter legs to people my height and I am happy with the size of my charge.

Hello, yes I am looking for a complete bike if possible.
Do you have any pictures and would you be able to tell me the dimensions of the bike at all? And how old is it?
Although don't worry, don't feel pressured if you want to keep it in the end...
I suppose I'm fairly flexible on budget; it really depends on the bike, but I could probably go to £300 or so, maybe a bit more, but yeah depends on what comes up. -

I have a complete 52cm road bike which would fit.
It is currently on Gumtree and I can drop the price
Easy conversion, just add a flip flop wheelset, remove one of the chainrings and off you go:

Hi,
Still really want a bike if anyone has one. Because of various things in the last few weeks my budget has decreased a bit, so would rather not go too much over £200 anymore (although could probably still be tempted by slightly more expensive bikes).
Also I am now more based in central London so pick-ups around there would be most ideal, though as before I don't mind travelling a bit/getting posted if I really have to.
Cheers! -

Sadly the bikes were not quite the right fit for me - still looking if anyone has one! Possibly interested in incomplete bikes/frames as well, though a full bike is definitely preferable.
Thanks! -

Still searching!

at 5'6" you are at the point where no 700c bike will have an ideal fit. Heck, I am 5'8" and cannot find a 700c frame that fits just right.
If you have long arms it could be ok, or if you run a small frame with risers. 52cm top tube is generally as short as you can go without getting weird mega toe overlap.

Hi, sorry never got back you you, been really busy and all. I have decided to sell my charge, frame and fork + headset are ready to go but I am still using the chainset and wheels until I actually get round sorting it out, which probably won't happen now until early Dec now, and at that point, I should have a complete bike for sale. Let me know if you would be interested or would it be too late. here is a link to the model, it's a 2010 model but I only bought it early last year and rode it on and off for just over a year, so a few paint chips here and there, but bike is in good nick etc.

as things stand, apart from the F+F and headset, I also have the original saddle + post, stem, a selection of handle bars and breaks and levers. So I just really need to find time to sort of a new set of wheels and take off the chainset from the bike I am using...
And the size of my charge is xs, which I think it's 52.5cm top tube and 54 seat tube. My set up was with a 80mm stem and my post with have about a fist worth of length sticking out.

Hi, sorry about being slow at getting back to you! I have since bought a bike off another user on this forum - many thanks for the offer in the first place, hope you still manage to sell it!
Hi!
I'm looking for a fixed gear bike for a short (~5ft6) guy, so supposedly around 50cm size?
Something with a decent frame (perhaps an old steel track one) and components would be great. If it has short flat/riser bars then all the better, and yes, it can't hurt if it looks alright...
Really not going for anything super fancy though - just something that can get up to good speed and will be fun to ride on a regular/daily basis, at a reasonable price.
If the bike can be picked up from the Cambridge area that'd be ideal, although I don't mind also getting the train a bit (e.g to central London) or having stuff posted if not too much hassle.
Cheers!
