The Olympus XA is great... like Tina Kino said it can be hard to focus but the lens is amazing and you can get one cheap as dirt.
Considering your requirements I wouldn't normally think of suggesting anything else, but it depends why you didn't like the XA2. If it's because of the zone focusing I find that's pretty much how I use the XA anyway so maybe it wouldn't be what you want.
Actually even with the focusing thing I would use it as my main camera except that I tend to beat up my cameras and after owning it about a week it became clear it wouldn't survive being carried around in my pocket too long. It's tough enough to survive being carried in a bag or by a more careful owner though. I just love that lens.
