Definitely keep the forks if you can. For starters, they're beautifully made and quite unique (Ted James said so). They also ride better than any other fork I've used! I was sadly stupid enough to ride and crash hammered on a couple of occasions and bent mine out of shape so they've now had to be replaced and the frame/forks combo is not as responsive
Looking forward to seeing this fully built up!
I'll fit the drilled carbon jobbies for now then look into drilling the steel ones later on. I don't want to ruin them so I'm not sure if I'll end up drilling them or not. I get a lot more pleasure out of riding with a brake so if i can't drill them they'll probably go unused unfortunately! I made a little bit of progress today and now I'm just waiting on a couple of tools so I can finish this off.
