Just back from a 45ish mile, with about 15-20 miles proper off road in mud. The maxxis beavers are excellent in mud....good traction, clear clay brilliantly, roll well. On the hard packed stuff on canal paths, and Tarmac however, they drag massively! Oh how I missed my conti x-kings today! I even checked on a slight downhill bit.....I was slowing down, freewheeling. That's not fair.
My legs are bolloxed........
