Thanks man, stoked to hear you like the hubs, when you're done your project I'd love to see pictures!

What's the consensus on this? Mispriced? Not interesting enough? Wrong time of year?
-
• #5
Well it is well priced. But it is very close to christmas and it seems (pointed from a history view) that people put their money to gifts instead of bike parts. Also it´s a good point that if you sell a lot worth $1200 to atleast have one picture.
Just telling.

Aye, unfortunately I'm on the other side of (my) country. Pictures to come when I get home on Sunday.

Also, might be worth putting the price up in GBP as it is on a London forum. No photos and having to work out if USD1200 is 50p or GBP10k at the current exchange rate is a bit of an arse and folk might just not bother?

Alright then;
Have changed price to reflect he origin of the forum (good suggestion sarged). Please note that the conversion I did was based on the current PayPal conversion rate, so no, I did not sneakily increase the price. I will take offers, particularly as I have someone who may be interested in the used chain..
Pictures, as promised! The crankset is currently on display at my local LBS, I'll go and retrieve it soon for pictures but it really is stunning. The chainring is the darker colour, not the champagne colour. ALSO, the 4 cogs I have are actually all NOS, I forgot that my only used cog went with the hubs that gereonb^^^ bought from me. However 3 of them are steel and one is alloy (the lighter coloured one). Forgive my lack of talent, poor lighting, and similarly poor camera;

Back from holidays bump. Now 710gbp posted.
Will be putting on ebay in the coming days (for more than here also) so consider this ad null and void as per forum rules once that has happened. Irrespective I will still cut a good deal for an lfgss member.

Last comment was 3 years ago mate...
Ergh, not wanting to do this, but I have other bigger things I want, and currently this is sitting unused. I admit this is a mega quick post to get things rolling but I will update with moar info (and pictures) in the next few days...
DA 10 Pitch Crankset (165mm), NOS, with NOS 52t ring, no funky threads or anything here.
DA 10 Pitch 36/36 Hubset, VGC
3 x 16t NOS (Steel) Cogs, 1 x NOS alloy 16t Cog
1 used chain
1 x NOS in packaging chain
THE CHAINWHIP, NOS, but missing a section of chain that is easily replaced (No, I did not pillage it, but the people before me did...)
Am I high as a kite to want 760gbp (----> NOW 650gbp!) for this collection? IMO there is a LOT of Km's as a usable groupset available here, that's what I originally designed it to be, but alas the right frame never really came along. That and another group sold recently for exactly this price, with less than what I have (and all used, compared to my mix of NOS/used) and without the chainwhip.
I'm an Aussie and that price includes postage.
No I'm not parting out.
Interesting?...
