He might yet surprise you then - mine didn't start bringing things in til they were at least that age. I genuinely thought they were nice pacifist felines. Wishful thinking.

I think it also varies on breed, the old car, whom is a part maine, doesn't really hunt, but the younger cat is a mouser and always managed to get every single mouses in our house, excluding miss mouse.

About 7 weeks ago, Chester had an operation to remove an overactive thyroid.

He is recovering well, regaining some weight and has decided to become a pillow :-/

He's larger than Maggie but not enormous.

I like the horrible face that cats make at the beginning of a stroke, Maggie looks like she's in severe discomfort but she's actually in heaven.
