Feel free to do it here to show off your work, getting word out is going to be one of the heardest things starting out so i'm happy to help you as much as possible :)

  • That messenger bag up there is awesome.

    Nice work.

  • Was in with Kieran just now and I've got to concur with everything Rikki's said and more - it's great set up and the bags look amazing. Sirbikealot I think it's yours that's in progress as we speak!

as they said, yours and Barrys bags are currently in progress, made the straps and cut some panels waiting for assembly, but the cordura for yours should be arriving at some point tomorrow. Will post pictures then :)

  • cheers man, is the tarp liner the same stuff used on that messenger bag upthread?

  • it will be, but i havent lined the rolltop messenger yet. Ill post a picture of the tarp on this thread as soon as im in the studio.

  • More sketches for custom orders..

And another visit to the studio from Kimbie the puppy.

  • Finished Barry's bag yesterday, took some photos this morning.. here it is. Cordura with a grey tarp lining, super stiff and hard wearing. Im open for more custom orders too if anyone is interested.

and heres a photo of it fully open

  • front detail

  • You should sort yourself out with a logo and/or some particular finishing touches that will make it look not just like a bag, but your bag

ordering some woven labels as soon as i have the cash. Dont want to put anything lesser quality on them really. Heres what im doing with the customs for now.

  • 12ounce when you do mine could you make where the straps at the top of the bag a bit closer to the middle? Looking at my eastpak they're right next to the top handle?

Other than that I'm exited :) grey tarp liner for me too?

the little bit of extra distance just means you can wear the bag a bit higher up, so it fits a bit better when fully loaded and tall. But ill move them in a bit if thats the look youre after! Does the sizing of Barry's look alright for you? Currently drawing out your panels before construction.

  • cheers, i would, just looking at the bags i own that i find comfortable they all seem to be quite close to the handle bit, may just be narrow shoulders/neck...

sizing wise, yeah that looks good, can't remember the dimensions that i worked out, maybe barry's is a bit smaller?

  • Bumped in to Keiran on my way home earlier and saw the rolltop backpack, bloody awesome bag, same quality of construction and finish as the messenger. I didn't get to try this one but it looked super comfy. Need to get on those labels mate!
