I've been running those cranks with a Shimano Tiagra BB for about k miles on my CX bike with no issues.

And I've been doing the opposite, Tiagra cranks in a FSA SLK BB without problems.

I was wondering this about their Gossamer Cranks. I'm hoping it'd be ok to run them with an Ultegra BB as the Mega Exo one creaks to buggery and is (inexplicably) £40 to replace.

should be completely fine to go with a shimano hollowtech II BB. I personally found the FSA ceramic BB on my K-force light absolutely gash. okay, reasonably smooth but I have sealed bearing BB's from the 80s that are smoother and lower rolling resistance..ceramic my arse...FSA must think all their cutomers are dumb.

MegaExo and HT2 axles are both 24mm.
IIRC there are a couple of different MegaExo road BBs. I'm not sure what the difference was between them, but I suspect some earlier cranks had shorter axles than the later ones. So the width of the cups or plastic inserts may vary.
Whatves, a Tiagra HT2 BB is cheap as chips, so it wouldn't hurt to have a punt on one and try it out. Torque the crank bolt to spec and make sure there's no notching going on. If there's slop instead chuck some spacers in.

I looked at this and was reliably informed that whilst a gossamer is close, it's not quite the same as ultegra.
Hey,
I've got some FSA SLK cranks on a bike I've just bought, wanted to keep the cranks as they're pretty shiny but from my experience FSA bottom brackets are a bit shite/a pain.
I'd ideally like to run Hollowtech on them, and the consensus seems to be non-existent, just wondering if I could get a clear answer on here.
Can I get these cranks (Running on MegaExo bottom bracket) to run on Hollowtech somehow? IE, converter, or are they compatible, anyone tried it out?
Cheers.
