Hi, i got my specialized langster monaco stolen last weekend... i really want it back - have reported to the police.

Merida lost about $1 million worth of bikes, equipment and cars
in a burglary last weekend that has thrown its plans for next
season into disarray, a company spokesman said.

 More than 100 bikes, worth at least 7,000 euros ($9,500)

each, were stolen from the team’s headquarters near Milan last
weekend, Lampre said yesterday. The bikes, which come from
Merida’s Warp TT, Scultura SL and Ride Pro brands, are painted
black, lime green and purple. Two cars, office equipment and
cycling parts including Fulcrum-brand wheels, Selle saddles and
mechanical components were also taken.

 Burglars “broke in by destroying the alarm system,

telephone system and Internet connection, then continued on to
clear the warehouse and team vehicles of all valued material,”
the company said.

 Riders were scheduled to gather Dec. 5 so the team could

start testing the cycles in preparation for next season,
spokesman Andrea Appiani said in a telephone interview. That
will no longer happen.

A friend had their bike stolen around 8pm in Brixton last night.

Red Shabuya-fu small steel track frame (46cm). Time carbon forks, silver flat bars, single speed, Mavic open pro rims, Tioga seat post, Bontrager seat, red and black Shimano dx levers, silver SKS mudguards, system ex hubs.

Any info greatly appreciated.

Overnight, Gosport BMX Club was broken in to, 9 bmx bikes stolen, these bikes are proper race bike so in my opinion will be hard to move on. This club does all it can to encourage the local community and whoever into the sport, the bikes have been built up over the last 6 years, these bikes are lent out free of charge to encourage new riders into the sport, now some scumbag has ruined this for the club. The bikes missing are

you looked over the railway bridge footpath in that street to the left before the cemetery? kids in there always riding like idiots on dodgy looking mopeds over the pedestrian footpath, no helmets/lights.

I actually walked up in there and looked in, i didn't see any moped, mine nor anyone elses so was possible they were out elsewhere :(

Don't know much details, but someone I know was offered it this evening by some crackheads in the street in Leyton area. She refused, because "it was probably one of your mates". Unfortunatelly didn't think about getting it just to reunite with the rightful owner (she was worried to be out of pocket).
No hope to find it now, but at least it's alive.

Called the cops on them? I'm sure the cycle task force would be keen to know about it, especially with the nodder outfit pic.

They might be able to do them for going equipped with the backpacks full of tools, kinda hard to explain away the bottle jack/bolt croppers etc on their nodder commute.

Spoken to security; we had a bike nicked from the courtyard where I'm taking the pic from last week. Looks like they were waiting to follow someone after they swiped opened the gate.

Interesting, apparently about 10 minutes before I took that picture one of those guys came into reception, had a look around then walked out again.

Security thought it might be a curryer but he didn't speak to anybody. SNT will have the pic shortly.
