I bought these (and matching overshoes) based on this recommendation and after a ride to Lewes and back this weekend I would absolutely endorse them - the neoprene-esque material takes a little while to get used to (these are not soft and gentle fleece-lined luxuriant comfort pockets) but I bought slightly bigger than usual so there's space for a padded mitt or a wool/silk liner if necessary - my hands and feet stayed absolutely toasty - you know, when you can't even summon up an awareness of chill in your extremities? - whilst my mate experienced cold in both.
