Torn between buying a PS4 early next year and building a budget pc (around £400 - AMD FX 6300, HD7850 2GB card, 8GB ram, 1TB HDD, 120gb SSD) for the first time in about 10 years. Any advice as to which path to take?

Depends on what games you want to play?

I'd go for a PC because battlefield would be my number one game choice and it's better with 127 character keyboard. GTA is a close second, it works on PC, but if it was my main concern I'd get a console.
