Yeah, I believe so... CC meaning Creative Cloud.

Forgot i'd been playing with the diopter adjustment before shooting
-
• #4854
Actually, does that do what I think it does? I seem to have quite a few back focused shots. Is that my lens? using the center focus point like
Should probably know this

It adjusts the viewfinder for any defect in your vision. If you don't have it properly adjusted the image will never be sharp.

^ only if using manual focus.
Mine had me confused for a bit because it had been knocked. Whenever I looked through the viewfinder everything was fuzzy but the photos were still sharp with auto focus. It took me a while to figure out, but then I am an idiot...

Oh god knows, something must have happened toward the end because 90% are fine(phew).
Hate this tiny, crap viewfinder.
-
• #4858
^^ Meant to say the image in the viewfinder will never be sharp! Of course if you are trying to focus manually it's unlikely you'll get the focus nailed, but if you rely on getting it as sharp as you can the picture will be sharp.

Also, what you see in the viewfinder is not exactly what the af sensor sees. Basically, don't manual focus an f/1.2 lens on anything without a split sprism.

This Instagram movie proves that every Instagram picture is the same...

Cool, though the filmmaker could have done better with the sunrise/sunset bits.

Looks like an interesting event, maybe more so with faces showing?

Having a slight dilema.
After a very small but decent compact, kind of stuck between these two at the moment: the Nikon Coolpix P330 and the Canon PowerShot S120.Anyone have experience with either of these? I've read some reviews and I suppose the Canon is edging ahead due its size, it's about 5mm smaller in width.

I've used the S100 which is basically the same as the S120 and it produces excellent RAW files in good light. Image stabilisation works well too and the manual controls are quite easy to navigate.
-
• #4866
Yeah I saw that they're exactly the same size as well. Easy controls is another plus point. I've been used to the Ricoh GRDIII and when drunk it can be fucking confusing.

May be of interest. Sony NEX3NL will be on Amazon's lightning deals from 4pm today. No idea how much it'll be but they've been doing good discounts on stuff generally.

Cheers that looks like it could be awesome but with the lens it makes it too large for a pocket.

EOS M with the 22mm pancake can be had for a song.

I have the S95. It's great apart from the ease with which the exposure compensation dial can accidently be knocked on. Despite being many models out of date (s95->s100->s110->s120) it's still well represented on Flickr:
I wouldn't hesitate to go for the S120

S120 shooting in RAW and a copy of lightroom. You won't look back.

+1 for PowerShot. Never had one myself, buit always really like shooting with these.
"They take really good pictures", haha.

Yes, they've been selling them off with both the 22mm, the 18-55mm and also the EF-EF-M adapters for £349, which is pretty damned good.
I got mine in the US with just the 18-55mm for about £230 earlier this year and it's a great camera. Still learning the touchscreen/layout but it's pretty good.

I love my eosm! Paid a little over the odds for it I reckon but still worth it.

Fuji X100 for sale - http://www.lfgss.com/thread118182.html
Just looking into that after MacReady posted it on the previous page.
Presumably 'CC' is what they're calling the latest version of Photoshop, it's not some cut-down Elements bollocks?
