What is your main commuting outfit (eg. oldest clothes available, rolled up jeans, suit, lycra/ club kit)
Whatever I'm wearing to work. Only a three mile commute. In fact whatever I'm wearing is pretty much what I wear on the bike all the time. I've decided 100km is my minimum requirement for any kind of lycra.
My wardrobe is pretty much entirely shorts/skirts/tights and skinny jeans, so everything is reasonanbly suitable for cycling and mostly already oil-stained anyway.
What are the measures you have take for safety/ comfort (eg. helmet, lights, reflectives, mudguards, toe warmers)
Lights, mudguards. Watching people like a hawk. Avoiding idiots. General no nonsensery.
How do you amuse/ occupy yourself on your commute (music, imaginary conversations, provoking other road users etc)
Music music music. Always music. I will make myself late for work waiting for my mp3 player to charge rather than ride without tunes.
