Alternatively, ask a fan of the Times cryptic to solve the first clue. Now with added character count

Participation, as opposed to spectating, takes it into a whole new league - trust me when I say that :)

Jurek, if you get this crane, will you post a photo of your bike parked in front of the crane on your desk? Or on the site of your crane adventure on... was it Tooting Common?

Cannot believe you can remember my crane adventure on Tooting Common.
I've been trying to erase that from my memory for years. -

looking forward to hearing that story! ^
So this one, a sad tale of crack and homelessness.
There's a pretty high possibility that it will have been demolished by the time you get there. Boo!
Oliver, any chance you can use your lofty position and save it? -

The remnants of the former Gibbons department store in Amhurst Road, Hackney Central. Partly destroyed by arson years ago, now number 1 has developed structural problems and is going to be pulled down in a little while. Numbers 3 and 5 may survive, but it's not clear yet.

Another one in an occasional series of strong colour contrasts. A clue (for the eagle-eyed) is in the picture. This is pretty easy if you know where it is, though.

Not sure what you mean--the tag game or the buildings?
