It certainly is; beautifully understated with some lovely details: check the front of the fork crown.

Worth noting the BB is Italian threaded...

a thing of beauty ...

Hi guys, thanks for the compliments. She is a beauty indeed. I would never ever part with her had it not been for the fact that I've received a custom geometry Marinoni Pista and need to pay for it! One of the last frames Marinoni will ever build, so I had to jump on the opportunity. This one is also too small for me, sadly.
I don't think I managed to capture the panto on the top of the forks - a very nice "M" enclosed in a circle. Minimal but elegant - much like the bike. There is also an M panto on the bottom head tube lug which you can see in one of the pics.
chrisbmx116 is correct; I failed to mention that in the listing. Will edit. BB is Italian threaded, as is the BB shell of the frame.
Roymund: sure, dibs accepted. Let me know as soon as you can though. I will probably post these things on some other forums/ebay in a week or so.
If you guys want any more pics of anything, let me know. Oh, I'll also add that if someone wants all of the items we can arrange a discount.
One last thing, its not clear in the pics looking back on them, but there's a couple frame protector stickers on the front forks. What might look like marring or smudges are those stickers. The chrome is in perfect condition.

Hi folks, for the record it looks like the frame will be about $200CAD to ship across the pond (quote for Germany so adjust accordingly).

Cranks have sold.
I am willing to negotiate on the shipping costs for the frame if anyone is on the fence. The Canadian dollar is not doing so hot lately, so it's a good time for you guys in the UK to buy my shit, hah!

P.S. I should also mention that the Canadian dollar appears to be taking a dive. This could work out well for you guys...

Thanks for the compliments guys. She is gorgeous indeed and I'm going to be sad to part with her. As a matter of fact if it doesn't sell soon I will probably just keep it and hang it on my wall!

Dont forget that buying something from USA/Canada will attract 20% VAT upon arrival, and just to make it really nasty, the VAT is payable upon the product AND the Postage/packing. I have been stung enough times to ensure I warn others.
-
• #23
I think the 20% VAT is worth it given you'll be the coolest cyclist in the country :)
OR, become a courier and write it off!

In this film (2 secondes) the grumpy italian bike-shop owner is a serious Marinoni (and Campagnolo, of course!) enthusiast. http://crankedmag.wordpress.com/2007/09/13/marinoni-and-duex-seconde/
Very nice frame, GLWS, auftakt!

Cool movie; I'd not heard of it before! Cheers
Hi all,
Selling a few bits and pieces. I am located in Canada (Montreal) so I'm unsure as to how much interest these will get, but I figured I'd give you a shot before they head to eBay. You guys have always been very helpful, so hopefully I can return the favour. If someone by some chance wants all of these things (they all go together if you want), we can arrange a special deal.

-** SOLD!!
1986 Marinoni Pista frame & fork. [s]590gbp510gbp.[/s] SOLD!!** (shipping to be discussed if someone actually wants it). Impeccably built track frame by Italian-Canadian Giuseppe Marinoni. He studied under Rossin (of Colnago fame). 52cm, Columbus SL tubing throughout. Chromed (crown lug) forks and rear triangle. Campagnolo drop outs and track ends, Italian-threaded BB shell. Drilled for a brake on the front. Campagnolo Super Record Pista headset included (although it needs a service). Marinoni has just retired so these things are going to go way up in value. Would be quite the nice piece for you guys in the UK since I doubt you see many, if any of them. Fixed cup in pictures not included. It belongs to the BB listed below. Few paint scuffs and chips but no dents, and no rust. Bike was only used in dry weather.Campagnolo Super Record Pista crankset. 70gbp shipped.SOLD!! 165mm, 144bcd, fluted. In excellent shape. They did begin to show signs of the classic cracking at the spider-crankarm corner, but I filed and polished them out. The cracks were EXTREMELY light. Literally two passes with a file and they were gone. Mismatched Strada left crank arm. Bit of shoe rub, but not much. I can include chainring bolts (3 vintage campy, 2 jobbers), crank bolts (sugino), and dust caps (shiny chrome Sakae buggers) if wanted. Hopefully these are priced accordingly.- SOLD!!
Campagnolo Record Pista Bottom Bracket. 65gbp shipped.SOLD!! In excellent shape. Italian threads. The threads where the lockring attaches to the cup are a bit rough, but the threads that interface with the bb shell of the bike are perfect. No pitting on bearing surfaces. Only used in dry weather and meticulously maintained. Fixed cup is included but not pictured as it's still in the frame. Runs as smooth as the proverbial baby's bottom.-
Campagnolo Record Pista 48t Chainring. 65gbp shipped. Modern Record - brand new. Don't have pics of this one yet because its on some new cranks that I've purchased and are en route. I don't need it so I'm passing it along. Will take pics when it gets here.Going to keep this one.Pics here - http://imgur.com/a/7xgV4
Feel free to PM if you have any questions.
Cheers!
