We all know bikes go faster in red....well this is post box red

The frame dates back to about 1981-2 and has been verified by Roberts as being a genuine Roberts frame....it has been totally renovated by Matt at Talbot Frame works and repainted by Mario....original Roberts decals have been used and there is a 531 DB frame decal too....it looks even better in actuality than in the pics and looks pretty good in the pics too!....One of the pics show what it looked like before renovation began.

Measurements....TT=55cm [C2C]...Seat Tube =56cm [C2T]

OLD=124MM......Seatpost =27.2mm

Matt has chased all the threads etc.

Originally the R on the seat cluster and fork crown were picked out in red....now they are picked out in Yellow

£340 including UK delivery [at cost]...so reduced by £35.....i will post but would prefer to deliver....so anywhere within a 75 radius of Cambridge....i will deliver....further afield and i will post.....i will post overseas but that might be expensive..please ask and i will make inquiries.

That's my old winter hack I used back in the late 80s. lovely frame to ride, I covered many thousand miles on that, quite a few time trials too. Cracking restoration, well done to all concerned. Wish I had the funds to buy her back.

Those 2 holes on the driveside dropout are for Campag's portacetena.

The renovation cost £200 alone.....plus the cost of the frame etc.....but if anyone believes I have massively overpriced the frame please let me know.

Glad you like the scheme...though sadly no takers....although i want to sell it and the frame is 2 cm taller than my current frame....the TT is no longer...i would rather keep it than give it away....the trouble with ebay...is that to make the same money....i have to increase my prices to cover ebay and paypal fees.....groan.

I would be interested in possible part exchange deals.with some cash involved....with a slightly smaller frame.....either 54cm square or 54cm seat tube and 55cm TT......A road frame in decent condition or one that needs a bit of renovation and is reflected in its value...so things like an Alan Super Record or Roberts or Raleigh SB or something else interesting.....531db or 531c or 531SL or 731 or 753 or Columbus SL or SLX etc

I can include a USE Alien seatpost in 27.2mm....with a non cyclops thingy.
