So, looking at this........ didn't campag bring out a sort of casette way back then in the "old days" I sort of remember trying one out but never got on with it. Not sure if they took off all that well. Looking at this one there does not seem to be any where to put a removal tool so would that rule out a free wheel although my mavic disc takes a screw on block. If the first cog is threaded on the inside then there would have been a small locking ring fitted as well as the last cog screwing on by itself. I remember the locking ring used to split. If Vic can get a couple of chain whips and see if the first cog comes off then we will be all the wiser. Any other views ?
