I saw a bus with a smashed up windscreen and a lot of police but no sign of any ambulances.
Fingers crossed...

A friend on Facebook who cycled along the crash site mentionend "bloodied hi-vis jacket in the middle of the road"....
Whatever mode of transport the victim was using, I hope it was not too serious. Get well soon!

Had a look, pedestrian, looked like a walk out in front of moving bus (smashed offside windscreen), forensic scene (bad sign), minimal to no blood (good sign)

It was at that pinch point where the road goes over the railway line.
Always hated that bit of road, so many cyclists going up the inside of busses and cars.
The pavement is so wide there, surely space for a cycle lane?

There was one, I don't know why they took it away exactly. If you look at the pedestrian island just by Yo Sushi, it has a cycle path cut through it that has been blocked off by a fence for getting on for ten years now.
Whole area cordoned off, suggestion of a cyclist and a bus being involved.
Looked very serious.
Here's hoping for the best for the rider
