He was in the stands though and the crowd still went nuts for him.

The Belgian fans we were chatting to in the pit were saying they thought he was drugged up to the eyeballs, communicating this via a charades-esque series of arm slaps and fake pill popping.

Doping just to spectate? Who would do such a.. err...
Maybe he needed to slim down to get into his nice grey jacket.

Some dodgy photos (Iljo, Philippe Gilbert, and after years of trying, still can't get a decent photo of Eddy at the 6 Days).

Is there any live coverage of this of the Gent 6 days? Checked the usual sites and haven't seen anything. The was coverage of the Amsterdam 6 was great.

It's boring, they just go round in ovals.

Yeah, well, that's just, like, your opinion man. Looks like no coverage. Rotterdam 6 does though.

I haven't seen any live coverage available in Belgium either, unless you're at the track side.

Keisse on a DF3 and Cav on a Df4.
'Sup Specialized? All that R&D money and you can't make a carbon track frame? -
• #397
Poor kitteh
-
• #398
They had Specialized branded bikes in the pits too but haven't seen them actually being ridden in the pics.

Who went then?

Apparently they can, but it just looks like a Tarmac with track ends...
Oddly enough I think Keisse was riding DF3s around the time of his ban, but then had to switch to that Specialized when he returned for OPQS.
Guess they felt they couldn't compete anymore on that frame, so got the ok to use the Dolans.
Didn't realise it @ the time but spotted u all at the Eurostar.
Another good year (although not the same without keisse racing!)
