Best wishes for the family and a full recovery for the boys. -

Don't usually contribute to these things, but FFS - what's wrong with some people?
Thoughts with the family... :-(

Thoughts with everyone who had to see something like this happen and the family. Big love to the lad who's struggling in hospital, get well soon little chap.
Nothing but disappointment that some humans can do something like that to someone and fail to take responsibility for it.

This is very sad. I've worked in quite a few schools around there which really brings it home. Thoughts go out to those families.

outrageous.
some small consollation:
Earlier today a 21-year-old-man attended at an east London police station. He was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, failing to stop after a collision, and grievous bodily harm. He was later bailed to return in early August pending further enquiries.

What a horrible waste of a young life. Simply unbelievable.

So sad, It is unbelivable what some people do with their lives.
I was in a hit and run with my two kids last year, though luckily we were in the car at the time and there was no major injuries. But to know that person saw what they had done and sped off makes my blood boil.
Strength and thoughts to the family. -

The write-up in the Standard almost makes it seem as if the driver was forced to run (or was panicked into running) by the reaction of witnesses, in contrast to the passenger who just ran. In a way, I'd like that to be true. I'm not surprised by the behaviour of mobs, but I'd like to think that maybe the driver cared, but was scared off. It must be true sometimes.

If he cared he'd seek sanctuary and ultimately turn himself in.

He has turned himself in;

Exactly why have they NOT allowed comments on this, yet allowed the xenophobe ****, croydonboy to post to his hearts content on the story of the 60 yr bloke that died in Camberwell?
Scum:
