If you do a thorough google search, there's plans for a City funded Velodrome, There's ten schemes being looked at, the velodrome was in second place with the committee's vote, cant for the life of me remember where I found it.

I think there are some discussion about the development on the 3rd of December. Some Bike polo representatives will be there.
