If I'm not completely mistaken, on the evidence of this photograph none of them are bearded, except maybe the bloke in the middle, slightly. :)
You could have used any number of other adjectives starting with 'b' to bolster the alliteration. Bumbling, blotto, barking, brittle, bike-riding ...
