I thought what a stylish cyclist before I recognised it was shannonball. My enthusiastic Hello was answered with a slighly less enthusiastic response. Understandable as I was just getting on the bike and he was at the dreck ends of his commute this morning.

oh just remembered. Fri night, 7:30-ish.
Outside the Falafel King on Hunter St, Bloomsbury, I shouted "Tandem!!" with a wave, at a man and his kid on a tandem, in an excited shout-what-you-see kinda way. I love tandems and hardly see them in the city.
Both turned and looked at me with disdain. -

Even with the improved visibility, there were fatalities causes by driver operating those vehicles.

That video misses the point that articulated lorries aren't the main cause of danger in central London.
I'm cynical enough to think the average cyclist would watch that and fail to make the connection to the type of vehicles that are more likely to kill them.

I think the video is just showing you how possible it is for a whole line of cyclists to be in a lorry driver's blind spot. Common knowledge I know but still effective. I don't think it's necessarily saying THIS is the only reason for so many fatalities

That recumbent gets locked to railings in the area during the day. Least likely to be stolen bike is not stolen.
Overtook someone who look a bit ON HERE on the alu white/red Fuji with classic drop chrome bar heading toward Kingston this morning.
