Shit, that´s heavy and slow traffic. Seems that the bus in 3.30 was traying to block your way.

I'm just wondering if the person in the back of that ambulance died. Must've taken an age for it to get to the hospital.

You're braver than me - I love HK but it's so busy and so wet!
Do you find pedestrians walk out in to the road lot?
That music track in your vid is awesome. :)

i didn't see any other bikes!!
if i filmed my commute (london) there would almost always be another bike in the shot, and often more than five.

is that because you go on the main roads and other cyclists are using smaller, quieter roads? or just nobody cycles to work in HK?
+1 to alex's comment, like the music

Hong Kong is the only place I've seen someone die - a pedestrian walked out in front of a tram. The ambulance got stuck in a traffic jam. It was pretty horrendous.

hong kong people are lazy, only a few people are cycling to work
also the HK government are not encourage us to riding on the road
To a certain extent, HK are very backward on this

Nice vid + music =)
looks mostly like HK island in the film, I seem to recall more people riding bikes on the kowloon side last time I was in HK? (I'm from Hong Kong, but only started riding in London, fixed or otherwise). Yes, would agree its very much as subculture and not really accommodated/ encouraged ..

That's so horrible! Was it at a crossing?I recall HK having so many ways to get its huge population around (the huge Mid Levels escalator are my favourite) but with all modes operating simultaneously, it can feel pretty crammed and slow!
