Been using my Banjo Bro's bag for the last 3-4 years and it's still holding up well. Completely waterproof.
I also like the fact it's just one big compartment so you can put tool bags in, big boxes that sort of thing. I could manage with a smaller bag but it's always the times when you want a bigger bag you don't have one.
Reasonably priced too.

I'll take some pics if you promise to buy me a beer someday.
Cheers for the offer. However, having actually been sensible and looked at the dimensions on the website and measured my brick of a laptop I've realised that it has to be the 25, 15's nowhere near big enough.

you can get the orange one for 35 quid though. Personally i have a grey one
Where?

annoyingly it's just gone up bit stil not full price
i didn't pay much more than that for my grey one so i'd still probably chose that over it

not sure I'd recommend a Mission after having mine for a couple of years - zips break and the back pad has now absorbed so much sweat that it stinks and is impossible to wash.
-
• #233
Stop racing on your commute then ;-) in all srsns if the zips have broken can you not get a replacement with your lifetime warranty?
-
• #234
I dunno - maybe. Does that exist? I have no idea about receipts etc.
I don't race, except when I'm racing, and I don't bag when I race, yo :)
I do sweat like a mofo though - and it seems to get worse the fitter I get.

Haha I was kidding man. I sweat like a bitch when I commute, but that's because I am physically incapable of not cycling flat out.
Yeah, MW offer a lifetime warranty on all of their bags. But I am guessing you'd need the proof of purchase ;-)
-
• #236
Surely the fact that I have it is proof of purchase :)
-
• #237
Where did you get it from? I remember reading that Condor accepted one as a return without a receipt. Can't remember who though...
-
• #238
I got it from the Mission Workshop shop that was part of 14 - on a discount from a friend who was working there.
-
• #239
I guess I can email them. Would be good to get it sorted out.
-
• #240
Yeah, good shout. Their customer service seems to be pretty good. Keeping the customer coming back for more and all that shoite.
-
• #241
emailed - let's see how they respond.

Wack it in the freezer for a night. This kills bacteria and should kill the stink.
-
• #243
Not true. Freezing it will render the bacteria to be inactive but doesn't kill it.
I've tried this with jeans numerous times and they smell exactly the same when they come out (bad).

Erm... Wash them then?

Find most of these kick starter videos so annoying.

I've been using my team GB Olympic rucksack (that I got for free for 2 and a half years) pretty much everyday. Every time I go abroad, on the bike, on a trip etc. Still good as anything, and I don't treat it well either. I recently sprayed it with some waterproofing stuff I got from a mate and reinforced it at the seams by stitching over again. It will last forever.

Got this one, totally 100% waterproof. Quite large also.
seal lines are bloody good. totally waterproof and the straps are nicely comfotable and adjustable. I also use an Ortleib Messenger Pro, and its pretty hard to choose between them. You can fit a bit more stuff in the ortleib, but it interrupts your field of vision a bit more when looking behind you, and the back padding isn't quite as comfortable imo. I have ridden all day long in heavy rain with both bags and neither leaked.
