Didn't know bsa made bikes as well , thought it was only guns

Does it come with the mud, or would I need to pay extra if I wanted that included?

The descent wheels would be useful; does it have ascent wheels too?
Bump.

Am guessing not as it's only done 1 descent journey. I'd like to know where that was though as at 600 miles thats some descent!

£550 is an awful lots of money.

^ especially for something that hasn't even been cleaned...

regards to the cleaning, I work in a bike shop and will strip, clean and rebuild the bike before I sell it, thanks for reminding me to include that info. £550 is the correct price considering the drive train is practically new and alone is worth a couple of hundred. (a new bike with spec such as this is worth £900 - £1000)

The trip I made was London to north Wales and back

'The drivetrain is practically brand new'? Am I missing something here?
-

You've overpriced it by more than £450... but other than that glws!
-

You just let slip that you work in a bicycle shop, afraid it's still overpriced however you try to spin it, the most you can try and get is £300 max.
-
• #13
are you offering me £300?

Look at those forks with the thread to take an old fashioned lamp bracket, the rake on them, and the clearances on the frame. "Racer?"
-
• #15
I might be willing to offer £40 posted for the frame, just because I've always fancied a BSA bike to go with my Airsporter

This is a late 1970s G.P. frame... Raleigh's typical use of branding, regarding 'the subsumed'.
Totally incongruous build, so will not make any £. You'll need to split...
here I have an English classic racer, beautifully restored with modern top of the range components for modern functionality. 60cm
built during the 60's
here's a list of the key components
Shimano groupset
descent wheels too
front wheel - Alexrims D22
rear wheel - Shimano R500
this is bike for someone who appreciates the classic steels frames but who will enjoy the silky smooth shifting in the modern drive train. the drive train is new apart from the one descent journey I built the bike for this summer. (less than 600 miles)
I'm asking a very reasonable £550 for this lovely bike.
