Aha yeah that's a bit racist but not far from the truth :-)
Salmon mudguard are not the best for heavy rain conditions but they cover the entire width of the tyres, which are 25, and are custom made to fit the frame. But yeah, a pair of berthoud or bluemels would have been more appropriate i guess.
