Can't help you at the minute I'm afraid, but it's going to be a sweet show!

Reflektors show was A+. The whole staging and theme worked really well, everyone seemed less uptight and really got into it. Did you end up getting tickets Cazakstan?
Nope, I've seen them live as Arcade fire 3 times though so can't complain too much!

So gutted I'm missing Enablers. If I could watch one gig a year I'd be tempted to choose this band. Don't even listen to them that much on record!

Such a good show last night, probably my favourite of the year in fact. Pete Simonelli is such a captivating and brilliant frontman.

Went to Woodkid in Brixton last night. Absolutely phenomenal. Second best gig of the year after Pantha du Prince & The Bell Laboratory @ Barbican.
He played with his normal band plus the BBC Concert Orchestra. Never witnessed an atmosphere quite like it before (certainly in Brixton). Sadly he announced that this would be his last tour for a long time.

Pantha du Prince & The Bell Laboratory @ Barbican.
That was phenomenal.
I was a little bit concerned when Mathew Herbert & Stargaze managed to string a 45 minute piece of music out to a hour and fifteen minutes and make it even more tortuous than necessary but PdP and the Bell Laboratory more than made up for it.
Although I was disappointed the carillon wasn't there!

Mark e Smith fondling himself as he mumbled into the middle distance was a sight to behold. Did he know anyone else was in the room? Still, left me wanting more.

They've got that great big fella back on bass right? Him off shitty Reformation TLC. Hat wearing bearded American fellow. No doubt he's got a name but it's lost on me. Anyway, couldn't make it - too busy adoring barcodes. Hope it was good.

Yeah the big man was there on bass, but the warm up act were comical. Like heavy rock by numbers.

Really wish I'd seen Turin Brakes touring - I'm liking there long awaited sixth alum.

Tonight, I shall dig through the vinyl for Marquee Moon and enjoy anyway :)
Long shot, but does anyone have a spare ticket to the Enablers at the Victoria in Dalston tonight?
(It's for a friend.)
Thank you!
