For Sale: Gios Torino frame Type I for restoration

Classic quality frame made of Columbus SL tubing custom build by Gios Torino in the early 70ties. Painted in the famous blue colour but with wrong decals for the original era. The frame had a respray once i guess. Campagnolo drop outs and ofcourse the GT cut out in the bb.

Unfortunately the top tube and down tube are both dented. It looks like both tubes are pinched in a repair stand or clamped in a car rack. This needs work before a fresh spray.

This frame is worth a total restoration.

Note: this is Type I frame wich Original looks like the Original bikes of the famous Brooklyn Team. i restored such a frame myself once.

No fork available! Originaly it needs a full chromed fork.

Rear dropout width 124 mm

Needs 27.2 mm seatpost

Belissima! Lovely restoration! I have done once myself an hope to do a few more soon... nice frame! Well worth the £100... shouldn't be too hard to find the forks...

Shame Andras from Hungary gave me pm, stay in touch with me for a week and finaly no sign at all. Never had this bad experience with somebody from the UK. That's the good news......

That's because all UK buyers are true English gentleman (if only that was true!)

Would love to have this but I know the restoration would never happen....
