I can get my Clip+ way too loud, and I've got old and thirsty ears; I do have the NA version though, so it may not have the volume limits that the EU one does.
Realistically, mine lasts about 8-9 hours - how much more does one really need?http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=79552

I must have a duff one, lasts about 3-4 hours maybe.
Nah, both mine last way longer. Are you driving the right kind of headphones and how are your files encoded? Variable vs. Fixed, the bitrate and the actual encoding type all change the power requirements.
Someone out there has done a very good comparison on encoding styles and how they alter battery life. Google for it.

Thanks both.
Novatec hubs look as though they will more than satisfy my needs.
(My needs being matchy matchy front disc hub and rear track hub.)
Thinking about it you could use a front disc hub (same model) for both front and rear- simply space the axle out by 20mm on the rear and use a bolt on sprocket- bosh.
Can't get more match-matchy than that.

Le chainline?
-
• #53557
Le chainline & le clearances - That extra 20mm in the rear would look ugly.
I want the build to be toight, like a toiger.
Are the Novatec front disc hubs dishless*?
- He asks, not really understanding the question.

42mm chainline if you put the hub in the middle, 47mm if you use unequal spacers for a dishless wheel

Excel spreadsheet with contact details. Has 4 or 5 custom fields. How do I import into outlook without vba? I think "map custom fields" means "map these non standard fields to new user defined fields". UCL IT do not.
And if you're on here: you're a fucking cock and I will be complaining to your manager.

Never done it but File, Import & Export > Import from another program or file > XLS
-
• #53561
Yes. I can see that. However, there's the complication of it being a shared inbox. Which had been set up only for storing details, but not for sending mail. So I couldn't see it. Anyway.
Mapping custom fields, does it mean "map these fields to new user defined fields" or does it mean something else?
Thanks.
Preferably someone who's done it.

Export your existing contacts as a .csv file
Enter the new contact details in that csv file (which gives you all of the correct headers etc... and allows you to do any mapping / checking / weird functions in excel)
Import the new .csv file.

Yeah. That's what I thought. If I write it as a csv file, which I've done, importing that should work.
Fucking cock knocker.
-
• #53564
I'll export my contacts from my non shared box. Put the fields I have in the right way. Add the new ones in to user defined fields 1 etc. Save.
Go.
Kick in cock. -

If you took a brand new memory stick with no information on it, or saved data, then you took a full memory stick with no capacity left to hold any data....
Which would weigh more??? -

Depends on how the individual components represent their states.
If a bit is stored using anything resembling a sticky gate, there is no additional embodied energy for either state, but if one of the states is more energised than the other, E=MC^2 dictates that each bit that is high (or low, depending on the design) adds at least the weight of one electron.

I bought something though amazon that was faulty and the seller has said they'll refund me
i just got a notification through amazon to see that the refund has been completed (so i guess theyve tried to send the money back)
however ive just remembered that the card i used I got stolen/lost so cancelled it and a new one is on route to me, will the refund work..?
i have no idea how i'd go about fixing it if not, its not like the seller has my details

Which would weigh more???as it happens I have full kingston one here and a brand new no-name jobby (admittedly formatted). The no-name jobby weighs more, has less storage and is uglier. I hope that answers your question.
