Hmm, looking at the number of riders on the list, and at the size of the Devonshire Arms, there may be practical problems beyond the matter of locks. I wonder if I ought to give the pub a call to warn them about our arrival.
There's a little yard outside, so some riders may be out there and can keep an eye on bikes, and there's a railing at the front that a few bikes will fit on.
I'll bring some locking capability, but then I will have to be heading home fairly sharpish and soberish. So if anyone's wavering about whether to bring a lock, bear in mind whether it might help a fellow rider if you do bring it.
Or should we ride on across town to the Maypole, where Mario will mix us cocktails and provide ample bike parking?
