Been fighting with myself over which P2M to buy Current or type-s. I'm all for throwing money a few grams weight saving, and the improved weather proofing of the battery compartment is big plus up here. But 200 euro more is a fair bit.
I convinced myself that I want to keep using my aero rotor rings. But dont want to dremel a new PM. So type-s was the one. Never occured to me to do this. The backside of the ring is heavily machined. I dont think hes dremeled any of the thick structural bits. Looks neat.
