For Sale: 25' Rayleigh Record Ace

Sad sale but I have finally accepted it is just too big for me and is hurting my back.
Good original condition with new 27x1 1/4 schwalbe gum wall tyres.
Campag down tube shifters and rear mech.
531 frame and forks
Original decals and head badge all intact, few scratches here and there but it is 30 years old.

Needs new bar tape and will be sold without pedals (can throw In a crappy pair of flats if wanted)
Would also benefit from a better saddle.

Should have said has full length mudguards (original) and the front mech is Campag aswell.
Currently fitted with a rear rack that I will include if wanted.
Good working order (Rode it 10 miles to work this morn and will ride it home again in a bit)

No-one's going to show much interest unless you've got pictures and present measurements - that's two reasons why you've not had any replies.

And that you 'rode it 10 miles to work' this morning and that you will 'ride it home again in a bit' is really neither here nor there.

They're nice bikes, are Record Aces, but it will have to be in fairly good nick for what you're asking.

Thank you for that Mr Trees. I will measure up and take some photos next week. The bike is at my boat in Harlow and I am away for a few days. Rode it to work comment was just meant to show it was in sound order but I appreciate relatively irrelevant. It is a nice well specced classic ride though- I really wanted one when they were bew and I was at school but ended up with a Zenith in 501 and devoid of campag, hence the reason for buying this one.
