Thats the cats sofa . You have to dress like them or they wont let you sit there . Tiger print is equally acceptable , or black velour .......

They are all Maine Coons . And the photo doesnt do them justice really 'cos they are HUGE , the black smoky one on the left is only just a year old and he weighs 8 kilos . They dont mature fully until they are four years old . Picture of the oldie an ex breeding queen we adopted ...

Cool , but I have to say he is currently eating 7 pouches of felix a day without the wildlife he catches . We are currently going thru 2 packs of 48 pouches of felix a week . My house is like a zoo . Maine Coons are the bestest cats on the world but they do get hungry . The largest domestic cats you can buy ...Norwegian Forest cats ... Pah !
Oh and the vet says that none of them are overweight , just very solid . We have a dog flap in the back door for them and we still have to keep it wedged open . My kitchen is freezing ! -

Got home from work today, sat on sofa and was duly attacked. Cats are like velociraptors, they always attack from the side.
He is from Holloway road so that might explain something.

The neighbour's cat (kitten? about 6 months old?) is making determined efforts to get in my house, especially once it goes dark, and any amount of cuteness does not outweigh it being an asthma trigger.
I'm having trouble spotting it much of the time - black cat, unlit garden etc., and what was once amusing is becoming tiresome. I'm convinced it sees me returning home and follows me to the front door - surely it doesn't lie in wait - and then tries to get in as the door is opened.
Is there an acceptable way of deterring it?
I'll try the 'Any question answered' thread shortly, but I thought here might be a better starting point than inviting answers involving tigers or electricity...

What does it do exactly? Its not really causing a nuisance is it? How about tracking down its owners and telling them?

Try staring it in the eyes, apparently this is cat body language for "come near me and I'll eat you, you little furry bastard".
Maybe store a spray bottle of water outside your front door, one of those plant mister things, and hiss at it and spray it in the face just before you open the door.

7 pouches?! You sure you haven't got a lion there? ;)Also, Felix is mainly water. Have you thought about trying a more meat rich food? I use this and they love it: http://www.pet-supermarket.co.uk/Products/HB1141/bozita-adult-cat-food-chunks-in-jelly-370g-x-16-pk
Does the leopard scare them away?
