I'd seen that about cooking stuff in a water bath with oil in the bag as well. However, I read TL's post that he just marinaded the meat in the vac bag and then griddled it afterwards. 48 hours would be a long time to cook a steak sous vide wouldn't it?

bought some of this with the weekly shop yesterday... so tasty.

This is my fave street food in Brixton, everything else can fuck off...

Mixed veg (spinach, chick pea, pumpkin and potato) dhal puri roti for only £3... It. Is. Incredible.

I wouldn't normally share such an awesome place with the shower of cunts that hang around in this place but Mummy/Maureen needs to be making more money so she can reopen in Granville Arcade... She misses the old caravan, she needs some roots!

great for most things - some of their veg is rank tho. they do that 'pack three nice tomatoes on top of six rotten ones and wrap it in clingfilm' thing that fucks me right off. anyway, for fruit 'n veg, you want to be going here.
