^Not illegal that's for sure,
and IMO not a significant threat but if that front brake did fail at a crucial moment then you've not go much to stop yourself? Without foot retention is obvs much harder
pretty cool build btw!

My "pub" bike have no foot retention (but a single front brake), but the gearing is rather spinny which make it easier to slow down quickly.

I need to: choose cranks, currently thinking 75's, with a 50t goldtec ring, buy a nice post, which will happen when I have worked out whether I want an inline or not, and sort the rear wheel situation out. A clincher disc would be ideal but I'm probably going to settle for Raltec wheel covers.

Mike Burrows/Alpina aero seatpost would look great on that.

yeah, I think a USE Aero alien will end up on it eventually.

Foolish move by me meant I had to get the steerer extended! Thanks for the advice TM! £48 steerer extended, headset fit and steerer threaded and cut!

That was quick! Worth it....
Was wanting to ask, what wheels/cranks is it getting?
-
• #85161
Bright blue sugin 75s and no wheels just yet. Still looking for a beater set
-
• #85162
Beater?!
-
• #85163
I know I know! Fancy beater? They are blue!!!
-
• #85164
I meant wheels... Either put the Phils on and get ellipses to go elsewhere, or get some "beater" ellipses....

Fixed, front brake, really grippy Ti pedals work well.
Am I a thread to myself and others with this set up??
This is my pub/train bike BTW
Any reason not to have two brakes?
Without wanting to sound all scoble I've finally set up my rear brake on my condor and I've got to say fixed with two brakes is better than fixed with one.

Looking great, guessing this is what you're going to win hacksaws on?

Looks great, can't help thinking those bars just look backwards though, are the the zero sweep ones?
