RIP lady rider.
Thoughts are with your loved ones. -

It's been a horrific fucking week and it's only wednesday. What the fuck is going on out there?
Incredible sense that all of these deaths could have been avoided - when something happens on the trains or aeroplanes, there is outrage from the media and public (quite rightly) and almost immediate action. Hatfield springs immediately to mind where four people were killed. Three people killed at Bow, and what happens? Nothing.
Aware that this is not the thread for ranting so please ride safe everyone and go home to people who love you tonight (and not via the Bow Roundabout)
So sad for those left behind affected by the deaths this week.

RIP rider and condolences to those who loved you.
This week is truly horrific. I hope that these four deaths finally act as enough of a catalyst for our politicians to actually do something rather than just talk about it.

RIP lady cyclist. Two minutes from home for me, hate this roundabout, but no other choice than to use it.

I passed a sign on Commercial St this morning which warned of an 'Accident at Bow roundabout'. I knew immediately it was another cyclist. RIP. Feel sick right now.

You're lucky you still have to choice to get off your bike and walk around/across it as a ped. Fair from ideal and you shouldn't have to but if it means you get home each night, I know what I'd be doing if I had to use it.
I've always felt safer going over the flyover, which is a completely ridiculous state of affairs quite frankly.

no, it's bow roundabout, you can't even walk across it, there's no pedestrian phase on any of the arms.
you can run across it, between phases, just about...
