Took my hardshell out for the first time at the weekend. Slow pace 60 miles in 6-8 degrees and rain on Saturday, medium pace in somewhat warmer dry conditions on Sunday. Saturday it was fine, even a little cold at times. Sunday was really a little too warm. Didn't feel too boil in the bag, but felt somewhat damp all day, which I guess it is supposed to avoid. Base layer, long bibs and overshoes. Probably wouldn't want to use it for anything particularly high intensity.
