  • Lol, love the amount of stupid answers..

I think he's stated enough information. It's not exactly like you're going to buy a business which will take up pretty much all of your time over the net (if you do, I don't think having your own business is the best option..)

  • Thank you to all that have sent me an email so far, I will endeavour to get back to you at some point today.
Just to clear some things up for some of you.
This is a lifestyle business for me which I have grown organically from day one. I believe it has lots of potential to grow with the right person/people behind it, some thing I have had trouble doing the past few years as my area of expertise lie elsewhere.
I have never borrowed money and have no ties to the business, I could just as easily close it down and walk away but of course I would rather sell it.

  • This isn't OT, it's OTT

  • if you sell here make sure you donate to the forums ...

  • I say good luck to you. if its kept you afloat for two years then i'm sure someone else can do at least that

  • @Sumo. I'm off to Devon to expand a business with a good friend. Big picture is to have a B&B in the next few years.
@Tomder. I would be more than happy to make a donation even if the sale does not come from here.

  • I can only wish you luck, Devon's a whole lot nicer than shitty London.

  • In all seriousness good luck with selling it and hopefully devon goes well for you

  • Good luck, Seb. B&B's can be damn hard work but very rewarding.
This is Henry from LMNH by the way (although I've quit now).

Really glad that you are making this happen. I remember you mentioning this ages ago, so one day I hope to make the most of your hospitality. Plenty of good cycling round there too (if you hate flat roads and enjoy just going up and down, up and down).

    Good luck

  • Yep, would visit a friendly B&B in Devon. Especially if it was tied up with some sort of bike rental/touring/trails etc. this is the very reason I really want to visit Charlie in Swanage at some point.

  • Seb's plan is a bike friendly gourmet B&B

  • If I was younger and single, I'd really consider a purchase of that courier business.
Now I'm a wreck. The harder part of any enterprise is building up a customer base which, in this case, seems to be for taking

  • Wish I had the capital, always fancied being my own boss...

  • what are you actually selling here:

    1) assets

    2) goodwill

    3) order book

    4) contacts

    5) your knowledge as a consultant

  • Merry Christmas to you all,

I would just like to thank all of you for your enquires.

Bycaboy has been sold! The new owner is Robbie soon to be taking over this account.

As promised a donation has been made to the forum.

    Happy new year fuckers x

  • Seb, congratulations.

One day I shall come and visit.

  • should've been bought by velocio and created LFGSS.
The shittest but largest courier company ever

  • Maxcrowe's return could not be guaranteed so the lfgss courier company was a non starter, a bit like most of his working days.

  • Beagle couriers is alive and well

  • ?

  • Ha!

I can't really monitise my earnings since I get paid in beers! hicks ;)

  • But money is only for beer anyway.

  • Speak for yourself Rob... ;)

  • I usually can.
