OK so had a good look at my garden acquisition- its a Royal Enfield Lightweight sports with 4560-8 stamped on the rear drop out. Put some 700c wheels in for a look see and looks alright. Not looking to make this period correct so going to leave off the rod brakes and chainguard, looking more towards the Pashley Guv'nor as inspiration maybe brakeless fixed?? British racing green paint not in great condition which is a shame as if re-sprayed I will loose the original graphics with the lovely gold lining.
