is it me or do the shadows here look a bit to defined / touched up... they just don't look right
it's so difficult to tell these days with digital camera's
There is absolutely zero photo shopping/touching-up in any of my shots. Only tweaks I make sometimes are contrast and saturation. I get what you're saying though. I think the batman style shaddows come from using a small aperture (f16), and 2 flashes, one on full power, and one on 1/4 power.

BTW when I mentioned black shadows I thought he was on about the pics in the link I posted - not yours!

Not a great photo, but I thought I'd bring this thread back to life.
This was taken this afternoon on the roof of a local school (it's Sunday here in rural Suffolk, and the schools are closed.) Climbed onto the roof, nailed the kickflip first time, Jumped down, and we pegged it out of the school, closely followed by the caretaker/security guy who was in the building under the roof. Hoodeies are cctv proof, yeah?

Inbetween runs on the mini-bowl I accidentally took this of my mate, with my other mate's camera.
He seemed to have some sort of shitty fisheye attachment on his lens.
Bear in mind x-up boy's elbow got broken years ago and he cannot fully straighten or fully bend it - he used to x-up the bars to 270 degrees, but no longer has the flexibility

You might have heard of a skate company called HOAX... Anyway, I'm doing all the photography for their new website, which I'm pretty stoked about. First job is doing a shoot with each of their sponsored riders/skaters for the profile sections. First one was tonight with a kid called Archie. He's on an 18" BMX, he's about knee-high, and he shreds. Cheeky preview from the (very brief) shoot attached.

Well into trying that, the whole thing looks sick, tarmac in the banks.
