For Sale: Alan R30 Carbonio fixed gear conversion

For sale is a recently built up Alan fixed gear bike The frameset is really lightweight, only 1,3 kg for a 58 x 57 cm ct-ct http://www.velobase.com/Velos/ViewModel.aspx?ID=a0d99b9b-5be5-45fe-a308-9606dadaee2d.

The frame is in very good condition, no cracks on the tubes or other major damage. There is one problem as all the alans it suffered from small cracks in the head tube lugs which have been carbon fiber bonded and are solid. The bike has been built with a brand new italian threaded Ultegra BB and a promax lightweight headset. The seatpost is a lightweight in line type and is securing a stripped titanium flite. Cinelli hinged stem and no name riser bars. Dura ace brake caliper and avid brake lever. The cranks are carbon FSA team pro, with a 44t fsa chainring. The chain is a campag 8 speed as it runs best on 3/32 cogs and is light. everithing except the wheels weigh 3,8 Kg which is pretty light.

Wheels are Novatec sealed bearing hubs laced to white rims. bomb proof set with brand new vitoria zafirio pro 2 tires. There is a 16 t cog and a 16 t freewheel on the back so you can convert to a singlespeed if you want to.

The whole bike weighs 7,8 kg is really fun to ride and it has a nice riding position. It can be converted to a road bike as it still has all the mounting hardware.

Those dropouts look quite vertical, are there any issues for adjusting chain tension? Apologies for the noob question, I'm new to fixed gear :)

yeah there is no seat post on but you can get one cheap from any lbs

Chain tension is good as i used a pre- stretched chain and also there are about 1 cm of adjustment left in the drop out if needed. Anyway bike is already been sold
